Horse racing at Listowel Racecourse dates back to 1858. With a two day festival in June and a seven day ‘Harvest Festival’ in September, Listowel Races is one of Ireland’s showcase racing events. Key races feature each day of the week with the premier days being Wednesday which features the iconic Kerry National, a prestigious jump race with an illustrious roll of honour. Friday is Ladies Day and by far the busiest day of the week.
