The trail starts from Tralee and finishes in Ballyheigue which concludes with a coastal loop of Kerry Head peninsula. You can join the trail at any stage of this picture-perfect walking trail and follow canals, paths, beaches, and roads.
On this picturesque trail, you will pass through many places of interest and hidden gems including the Rose Garden, Garden of the Senses, Kerry County Museum, Siamsa Tire Folk Theatre, Tralee Wetlands, the Blennerville Windmill – which is Ireland’s oldest working windmill, railway, the Canal, the Tralee Harbour coast, Banna Blue Flag Beach, Ballyheigue Blue Flag Beach, and the Kerry Head Peninsula with several places to interest to see and visit. On Kerry Head, the route passes by Maulin Mountain which has views of Banna Strand and Tralee Bay.
