Enjoy a delicious family meal in The Burrows Bar & Restaurant, with plenty of options to suit all tastes.
Day 2: Banna Strand, Fenit & Blennerville Windmill
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading to Banna Strand, one of Kerry’s most beautiful beaches, just a short drive from the hotel. Let the kids enjoy building sandcastles, paddling in the waves, or simply running along the wide sandy beach. After lunch, visit Fenit Harbour, a small, charming fishing village. Take a leisurely walk along the pier, spot boats coming in and out, or enjoy a scoop of ice cream while the children explore the small playground. Visit Blennerville Windmill, Ireland’s largest working windmill, where kids can see how flour was made and enjoy learning about local wildlife and Tralee’s maritime past.
Day 3: Tralee Bay Wetlands & Aqua Dome Adventure
Head to the Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Park. Kids will love the interactive nature exhibits, observation tower, pedal boats, zipline, and playground. A great combination of nature, education, and fun! Or if you prefer some indoor fun, visit the Aqua Dome Tralee, one of Ireland’s largest and most exciting indoor waterparks. From the lazy river and wave pool to the water slides and kids’ areas, there’s endless fun for all ages, rain or shine.
Day 4: Kerry County Museum & Town Park
Spend the morning at the Kerry County Museum where children can explore the interactive exhibits, including the famous Medieval Experience, where you walk through life-sized scenes of Tralee in the 1450s. After the museum, take a stroll through Tralee Town Park, often called “The Rose Garden”. There’s plenty of space for a picnic, a fantastic playground and beautiful gardens to explore.
