Ballyroe Heights Hotel is located 4km North West of the town of Tralee on the R551 Ardfert/Ballyheigue Road. Only 10 minutes from the historic town centre, where guests will find themselves among some of the best visitor attractions that Ireland has to offer. With Kerry County Airport just a short 25-minute drive from the hotel, Shannon Airport just under 2 hours and Dublin Airport over 3 hours, we are the perfect location whether travelling for business or leisure from the US. Our hotel is conveniently positioned in an area that gives easy access to the most spectacular sights and destinations along the Wild Atlantic Way and our hotel is your gateway to the Dingle Peninsula.

How to Get Here

 Aer Lingus offers direct Kerry, Shannon and Dublin flights from many US cities, including Boston, Miami, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver and many more destinations. A huge advantage of travelling back to the US from Ireland is that you will pass through U.S. Preclearance facility in both Dublin and Shannon Airport. They are two of only a handful of airports outside North America that offers this facility. The benefit is that having cleared USCBP, passengers arriving in the US are treated as domestic arrivals, allowing them to avoid immigration queues, pick up their bags and go.

The coastal route for the Wild Atlantic Way is on our doorstep, while Tralee town centre is just a few minutes away. This scenic hotel at the Gateway to the Dingle Peninsula and is the perfect escape in Kerry. Kerry has an incredibly distinct coastline sculpted by the Wild Atlantic Ocean. There are a number of highly recommended boating trips and bus tours along this coast along with Ireland’s highest peak Carrauntoohil located in nearby Killarney National Park.
