Kerry County Museum

The Aqua Dome

The Aqua Dome is one of Ireland’s largest water worlds with lots of exciting features including a leisure pool. Waves, rapids, waterslide and sauna suite. An outdoor adventure play area with crazy golf and model boats has recently been added.

Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre

This twenty acre eco – tourism development comprises of a Nature Park focusing on the diversity of the internationally renowned Tralee Bay Nature Reserve. Novel features include a multi – lingual, safari style boat ride (a first in Ireland) and viewing tower offering panoramic views of Tralee Bay. The activity zone comprises of a lake for light water sport activities, 2.3km of walking and cycling trails and a smaller lake stocked with fish.

Crag Cave

Crag Cave was discovered by cave divers in 1983. It is formed of limestone and is a colourful wonderland of stalagmites and stalactites. This natural all weather tourist attraction has dramatic sound and lighting effects. It is thought to be over a million years old.

Blennerville Windmill

Climb to the top of Blennerville Windmill and experience the workings of a traditional windmill. The only power it needs is the wind! Once there is a breeze, the windmill sails are turning. Watch a film in our Audio-Visual Room and discover how the windmill was operated at the time of the Famine and how it was restored 20 years ago. See how the millers crushed grain to make flour over 150 years ago. Children can gain firsthand experience of grinding their own wheat into flour while working the ‘Hand Kuerns’.
